In processes where these materials are transported by pneumatic method to silos and bunkers that serve many purposes such as raw materials, intermediate products, final products and waste storage, there should be very small capacity filters (in general) on each silo to be used to separate the transport air from the solid material. In addition, when the products are shipped to the raw material silos with bulk trailer, they are also necessary filters for the bulk trailer air to leave the silo by leaving the product.
Filter type, fabric type and total surface area are determined differently according to each physical and environmental conditions. In processes where there is no temperature, there is no moisture in the transport air, and the viscosity of the transported solid particles is high, cartridge filters or cassette filters are generally preferred in terms of cost. As these conditions become more severe, both bag type and fabric type selection become cost-increasing factors. For this reason, when designing the Silo Top Jet Filter, it is important to analyze the environment well and provide the optimum solution.
